Full Job Description: The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).
Key Responsibilities: Greeting Customers: Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.First Impressions: Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.Store Standards: Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.Product Information: Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.Fitting Room Service: Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.Cash Wrap Efficiency: Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.Customer Appreciation: Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.
Requirements: 18+, Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.Retail Experience: Previous retail experience preferred.Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.
