Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Los Angeles Returns to Citadel Outlets

Citadel Outlets is proud to once again partner with the American Cancer Society to host Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17.

The annual 5k walk brings survivors, thrivers, families, friends, coworkers and supporters together for a morning dedicated to raising awareness, celebrating those impacted by breast cancer and supporting the American Cancer Society’s fight against the disease.

Guests are invited to arrive at 6:30am to gather with their team, visit sponsor booths and activations, connect with fellow participants and take part in the event kickoff. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk begins at 8:00 AM at Citadel Outlets for a morning dedicated to hope, strength and community.

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement unites communities across the country to celebrate breast cancer survivors and thrivers, honor those we’ve lost and raise funds to help support breast cancer research, programs and services.

Citadel Outlets is proud to host Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Los Angeles for a third consecutive year, welcoming thousands of participants from across the Los Angeles area to come together in support of an important cause.

Whether you are walking in celebration of a survivor, in memory of someone special or simply want to show your support, Making Strides provides an opportunity for the Los Angeles community to stand together and make an impact.

What to Expect Before the 5K Walk

Making Strides is more than just the walk itself.

Beginning at 6:30 AM, participants can arrive at Citadel Outlets to meet up with friends, family and teammates, explore sponsor booths and activations and join the community for the pre-walk kickoff event.

The 5k walk officially begins at 8:00 AM, with participants heading out together in support of those whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.
